Sarah and Andy had a hauntingly beautiful day for their wedding. And when I say “hauntingly” I think you could also take that literally! While photographing Sarah’s dress in an upstairs bedroom of the historic 1800s-era Schwyzer Lodge in Sandstone, MN, I caught what some may believe is a ghostly figure in one of the images. It seemed like a flash of light but when I looked closer it truly resembled a face! I came downstairs to show the bride and her family and they were amazed and also started telling me some “ghost” stories about the place including some strange occurrences felt by many guests over the years. It certainly was a unique situation and one I won’t soon forget! Other than our ghostly visitor, Sarah and Andy had a wonderful gathering of friends and family to witness them sharing their vows at the beautiful Audubon Center of the North Woods which was an absolutely beautiful location on an absolutely beautiful day! They also had many fun details to accompany the outdoor wedding and reception including an outdoor dance, yard games, and a bonfire. Here’s a peek at some of the pictures!
And here is the ghost. Can you see the face!? Eeek! 🙂
