It’s been a LONG time since I’ve blogged.  Instead of going on too much about why that is (having three boys age 5 and under will do that to you!) I’m just going to jump right back in with both feet.  I kicked off 2016 with Michael and Christy’s gorgeous winter wedding at Guardian Angels Church in Chaska, MN.  Micheal’s family are old friends of ours (I grew up going to the same vacation resort Sunset Lodge for many years with Mike’s family) so it was fun to catch up and see how much everyone had grown!  I also met Christy and her family, and they were just as wonderful.  It was a gorgeous crisp blue sky winter day, and the church was still decked out in this amazing holiday decor that just added to the magic of the ceremony.  The reception was held at the Hazeltine National Golf Club, and it absolutely beautiful.  The dance was a blast, and it had been awhile since I’ve seen a group dance that well!  Here’s my favorite shots from the day!

Mark and Kylie had an absolutely gorgeous July afternoon for a wedding in Thief River Falls!  Not too hot, not to cold, and the rain held off until the very end of the day.  We had fun exploring a little bit around the church and reception areas looking for spots to take pictures.  I even had them trek across to an adjoining lot from the hotel with some woods to get some of my favorite shots.  This was also my second to last wedding before the end of the season and my maternity leave begins.  Lugging camera equipment around in addition to a pregnant belly is getting a little tougher but I still managed just fine.  Here are my favorites from the day!

Megan and Micheal’s outdoor wedding day at the Myra Museum was threatened by rain in the forecast.  Luckily, it only sprinkled a few times, and by ceremony time the clouds had all rolled by and the sky was blue and the sun was shining!  They ended up with an absolutely beautiful day, and it continued on into the afternoon with their outdoor reception at Lincoln Park in Grand Forks, which was perfect because they had an evening planned with catered grilling and outdoor games for all of their guests!  Even their dog, Alice (who was also present at their engagement session last fall!) took part in the day and stole the show with her BIG doggie smiles!  Here are my favorites!
