It all started when I was sixteen and I got my first camera. Once it was in my hands, it never left! I spent my college years studying photojournalism and design, learning everything I could about photography. I graduated in 2004, and In 2005, I launched my official business. By the summer of 2007, I was able to resign from my day job to focus on my photography full time, which was a dream come true!
As for me, I’m married and settled down in the little Minnesota town my husband and I both grew up in. At the same time photography has allowed me to travel all over the country so it’s the perfect balance! I just became a new Mommy myself on April 6, 2010. Our baby boy Wesley Nathan is the light of our lives!
I’m extremely thankful for all the wonderful clients who have let me into their lives the past several years–it’s help make me the photographer I am today. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future of Photography by Megan!
